Connectivity patters in inhibitory networks
Connectivity patterns in inhibitory networks. Using quadruple patch-clamp recordings from cerebellar interneurons, we found that electrical and chemical interneuron networks in the molecular layer exhibit highly structured nonrandom features of connectivity, including clustered and feedforward motifs. Here, 90 of the triplet and quadruplet connectivity motifs found in these recordings are shown with electrical connections in red and chemical connections in blue.
